The Department of Geotechnical Engineering introduces advanced technologies and provides the best geotechnical technical services based on diverse and rich experiences in carrying out work in the field of soil and foundation. Its main tasks are design work across various geotechnical fields, such as ground investigation and analysis, soft ground design, tunnel and underground space design, slope stability analysis and reinforcement method design, structure foundation and earth structure design, and facility planning. We are pursuing a more stable and economical design by conducting underground safety evaluation, which is a process of evaluating the stability and impact of surrounding facilities.
